I’ve gotten my paws on a couple of Diana cameras and love the trippy effects created by the cheapness of the toy camera. These are a few taken while blazed/blazing. Enjoy!
This morning I got an email announcing that it is in fact National Weed Day. No duh, right? Well the sender also happened to like my POTographs and asked if I’d be willing to do an interview. I guess the cat’s out of the bag now and my name will forever be associated on the interweb with smoking weed. Read about my thoughts on 420 over at The Brooklyn Ink.
And Happy 420 tokers!! Hope you’re having a happy day!
…would be my lovely friend Nina. I took these shots on my roof a few weeks ago when it was still pretty frigidly cold. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am that winter is officially over.

My roommate snapped this photo one night while we were smoking (obviously), but it’s amusing how good of a photo it actually is because I had just been on a photo shoot as a hand model. Yes, one of my many talents is holding things to be photographed. Although I’m not so sure it should be called a ‘talent’ so much as a ‘fortuitous natural element that makes me some bucks from time to time’.
At any rate, I hope your Christmas if filled with much green, gushy goodness and red, blazed out eyes. Happy Holidays, stoners! Keep on toking.
I love how the cloud here doesn’t look like it’s touching my lips. Very snake-like, if you will. Sassy.
Lately I haven’t been smoking out of my bong much and I’m thinking of using it as a vase. How’s that for multitasking?
As promised, I dug out the sexy smoky photos from a black and white fine art project that was completed while I was studying in Italia. They’re quite raw, but I think that’s what happens when you’re 21 and trying to be an uber artist. It started with a joint, but the lucky strikes came onto the set when the smoky stick went out, but I hadn’t gotten all the shots I wanted.
There are a few more to this series, but they’re less smoky and more kissy. And I don’t really need that trip down memory lane to be sent out into the interweb. Overall, I kind of forgot how scandalous they are and, in effect, I’m kind of impressed with myself.
While studying abroad a couple of years ago I did a black and white smoke series that resulted few similar shots, of which I apparently only have in my portfolio and so cannot link you directly to them. I’ll dig them out and post them on here as they are, in my opinion, some of the best work I’ve ever done. I owe my Italian professor, Cosimo, many props for pulling out that kind of work from me.
